I started my real estate endeavors in 2007 which was a pretty tough market to begin a career in real estate.  Through hard work, determination and the help from a handful of incredible mentors I was able to help my clients during a tough economy using creative strategies and I began doing pretty well in sales.  I saved a lot of my earnings, living well below my means and used that money to begin flipping houses and buying rental properties.  Over the years, I have worked hard to build a real estate investment portfolio and the supporting businesses to support that portfolio.  This has proven to be a great decision.  

Today my partner and I have a real estate portfolio of 40-50 houses, a 5 unit apartment building in Cleveland, Ohio, a 68 unit apartment complex in Marysville, Ohio and a 48 unit apartment complex in Springfield, Ohio. Each of the apartment buildings we have purchased are value add / reposition opportunities.  For example, when we acquired the 68 unit apartment complex in Marysville, it needed fully renovated to include foundation repair, 30,000 sqft of flat roof replacement, 250 windows, 68 front doors and sliding glass doors, stucco repair, install 200 squares of siding, paint the exteriors, install a parking lot, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, lights, trim/doors, etc.  

Prior to that we would buy/fix/sell houses.  We flipped more than 300 houses/condominiums in Central Ohio. We learned a lot through this process from finding deals, negotiating deals, remodeling houses structurally, mechanically and cosmetically. We learned how to sell houses very well. This was a really fun part of my career. 

We also own a property management company.  Therefore, we self-manage our own assets along with offering our full service or limited service property management services to other real estate investors who may be looking for a property manager to help manage their multi-family real estate.

To support all of this, we own a construction company with a very hard working, loyal and skill team of construction workers in all trades.  This construction team typically is there to support our investments but we do offer these services to anyone we are working with who may need help with any remodeling efforts.

My immersion in the real estate landscape commenced in the mid-2000s, evolving through pivotal roles within the industry. Beginning with a tenure at a private equity firm focusing on residential properties, I steadily expanded my repertoire, obtaining licensure in 2011. Subsequently, my focus shifted towards acquiring and adeptly managing residential properties on behalf of discerning clientele. It was during this period that I uncovered my true passion: the meticulous art of rehabilitating multifamily properties.

I derive immense fulfillment from the intricate process of revitalization—taking dilapidated properties and breathing new life into them. Over the years, I have led numerous projects, from acquisition through renovation, adeptly managing them to fruition and successful exits. My specialization lies not just in the physical transformation of properties, but also in the art of building relationships and fostering valuable networks within the industry.

Beyond the professional realm, my personal ethos centers profoundly on family and cherished pastimes. As a 49-year-old individual relishing life’s journey, I find solace and joy in the outdoors—be it hunting, fishing, or embarking on impromptu road trips to discover hidden culinary gems. Sundays are sacred for me, dedicated to attending church and nurturing my spiritual side. We can also provide a “Rent-to-Own” tenant for you who will lease the home for a period of time and will also purchase an option to buy your home for a pre-negotiated price for a specific period of time. We have been helping landlords provide tenants for more than three decades. We have learned the ins and outs of this thought process and we have many recommendations.

Property Management

We can provide property management services on multi-family properties over 30 units. We can perform construction to upgrade your units so that you may charge more rent, we can help turn your units when tenants move out, we are very good at leasing and finding/qualifying tenants. We are familiar with many of the management platforms and understand Property Management well as we do it for ourselves on single-family homes and multi family properties.
